Pre-camp 3 - Flights

It's about 3 and a half weeks 'til take-off: 10 AM, Heathrow Terminal 4, KL9085 bound for JFK International Airport, New York... setting down at 1:10 PM local time. The camp's sending transportation at 6 PM, that's about 5 hours for meeting all the other counsellors and teaching my legs that being straight is at natural as being bent.

Since I can't go there yet, I've added a photo that communicates a little of what I feel at the moment :)

Insurance (medical and travel) is handled by Camp Leaders for a fee: I've put into have medical for the whole time (dying's very expensive outside your home country seemingly) and travel for after camp. At a few pounds a week apiece it's pretty convenient, particularly since I'm taking nearly a grand of electrical equipment (camera, iPod, phone... boy, does it add up!).
